Trend System LX is a tool for running any trading software independently of its OS under Windows, Linux and Mac OS. It lets you fuse Windows, Java and Linux trading applications into one trading platform and executes that under Linux, Mac OS, Windows, and other OSes. Internally this is done with the Wine Windows emulator and the Java runtime engine and externally with VMware virtualization. Trend System LX is a complete Linux image that could also be built out into all other sorts of specific appliances, but it is especially useful for trading and investing apps, because these are mostly for Windows only. With this virtualization tool your trading environment is suddenly multiplatform capable.
